World Hemp Today
Hemp is a multi-billion-dollar worldwide industry dominated by China, France, and Korea
Hemp is being grown all around the world as a major agricultural commodity. The US is a major consumer of these products with retail sales over $1 billion annually. Furthermore, current growth is projected at 15-20% per year as more and more Americans say “YES” to hemp. But the US is NOT a top producer of this commodity. We import almost all of this from foreign countries – mainly China, France, Korea and now Canada.
With the 2014 Farm Bill, the United States government finally enacted laws to allow the industrial production of hemp in America. We have a long way to go to catch up, but finally America can re-adopt this patriotic plant and take our place as a world leader.
- There are more than 25,000 products worldwide that use hemp
- Cars from Ford, Chevy, BMW, and Honda contains hemp parts
- There are over 200,000 acres of hemp grown worldwide
- The US is currently growing only 20,000 acres total!!!
We need to grow our own hemp, become self-sufficient, and stop sending our hard-earned dollars to our economic rivals. Red White & Hemp is bringing this industry back to its full potential in America. There is tremendous potential for farmers and small businesses to succeed in this growing sector. The growth of hemp is a win-win for Americans and for America!
